✨ What is the School of Evangelization? / ¿Qué es la Escuela de Evangelización?
The mission of the School of Evangelization is to help parishioners become disciples of Jesus — deepening their faith and learning how to share the Gospel with others.
It is not just a single course, but a formation program — a path of courses and retreats designed to guide participants from an initial encounter with God toward becoming committed evangelizers.
The School embraces a bilingual approach (English and Spanish), welcoming people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds so everyone can grow spiritually and participate fully.
La misión de la Escuela de Evangelización es ayudar a los feligreses a convertirse en discípulos de Jesús, profundizando su fe y aprendiendo cómo compartir el Evangelio con otros.
No es solo un curso, sino un programa de formación — un camino de cursos y retiros diseñado para guiar a los participantes desde un primer encuentro con Dios hasta convertirse en evangelizadores comprometidos.
La Escuela ofrece un enfoque bilingüe (inglés y español), dando la bienvenida a personas de diversos contextos culturales y lingüísticos, para que todos puedan crecer espiritualmente y participar plenamente.

Jesus is telling us that it is our Christian duty to spread the Gospel and to cast our nets into the deep. Evangelization is simply understood as sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others so that they make the decision to follow Him, become His disciple, and join His Holy Catholic Church.
We can only share what we have received; we can hold on to our faith only if it continues to grow. "But if salt loses its taste," Jesus asked, "with what can it be seasoned?
The St. John the Baptist School of Evangelization purpose is to evangelize our Parish Community to become disciples and to lead others to Christ by living a curriculum of courses that begin with the New Life/Nueva Vida Course. You can stop at one course or continue with the curriculum. Please see the upcoming dates below for the 1st course of New Life/Nueva Vida.
