We thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey in the Catholic faith. Below you will find important information regarding registration and program requirements for the 2026–2027 OCIA/OCIC year.

  • Program Information

    The OCIA/OCIC program is designed for children ages 7 and older who have not been baptized.


    The program is a minimum two-year commitment, depending on the registration date.


    Children and youth ages 7 to 16 participate in a two-year OCIA/OCIC program.


    Any teenager who is 17 years old and turning 18 at the beginning of the following year will attend adult OCIA classes.

  • Required Documents for Registration

    All families must bring the appropriate documents at the time of registration.


    If no sacraments have been received:

    • Birth Certificate


    If First Communion has been received and Confirmation is needed:

    • Baptism Certificate


    If only Confirmation is needed:

    • Baptism Certificate

    • First Communion Certificate


    If both First Communion and Confirmation are needed:

    • Baptism Certificate

  • Retreat Requirement ?

    Yes, attendance at a retreat is required for participants in the Adult OCIA program.


    The required retreat is called New Life / Nueva Vida. This retreat is an essential part of the adult faith formation process and is designed to support spiritual growth and preparation for the sacraments.


    Please note: This retreat requirement applies only to Adult OCIA participants and does not apply to parents.


    Additional details regarding retreat dates and requirements will be shared during the program year.

  • Program Length ?

    Children and Youth (Ages 7–16):

    The OCIA/OCIC program is a two-year program.


    Adults (18 and older):

    The Adult OCIA program is a one-year program.


    Program placement is determined by age at the time of registration.
